Green Mountain Solar Max missing from monitored quotes; Solar Credit prices unchanged

Our October 21 check no longer found Renewable Rewards Solar Max 12 in Green Mountain’s public quotes for two Texas ZIP codes. Solar Credit 12 remains listed with unchanged energy prices, export credits and monthly fees.

Coverage: ZIP 75201 / Oncor and ZIP 77002 / CenterPoint. Public ZIP-level quotes, not address-specific enrollment confirmations.

What changed

Renewable Rewards Solar Max 12
Before: Listed in both monitored ZIP-level catalogs at the previous successful check on October 20.
After: Absent from both monitored catalogs on October 21.
Renewable Rewards Solar Credit 12
Before: Listed with separate Oncor and CenterPoint Electricity Facts Labels.
After: Still listed. Offer IDs and EFL document IDs changed; energy prices, export credits and monthly fees did not.
Solar Credit 12 document date — CenterPoint
Before: September 30, 2026.
After: October 4, 2026. This is the date printed on the document, not the date we detected the change.

What this means: if you are shopping for a new solar buyback contract, compare Texas solar buyback plans and confirm which plans are available for your service address. Absence from these two quote responses does not establish that Solar Max is permanently discontinued statewide or that an existing customer’s contract has changed.

For Solar Credit 12, comparison of the archived Electricity Facts Labels (EFLs) found only document identifiers and, for CenterPoint, the printed date had changed. The rest of the extracted EFL text and the linked Terms of Service text were unchanged. A new document version does not by itself mean the price increased.

Both catalogs also listed a product named Solar All Nighter with a 12-month term. We have not reviewed its contract terms or established that it replaces Solar Max. Its name alone does not confirm free-night hours, export credits or eligibility.

Observed October 21, 2026, at 8:15 a.m. Central Time; compared with the previous successful check on October 20. This is a dated observation of public offers, not a current enrollment quote. Read the applicable EFL and contract before enrolling.
